Privacy policy

This policy covers kerbform.com and the tools we run on its subdomains, such as paintswms.kerbform.com.

What we collect

• Email address - if you give it to us, for example to receive your document, a receipt, or replies to questions you send.
• Form inputs - the details you enter into a tool (such as job, site, or hazard details) so we can generate your document.
• Analytics counters - simple counts such as page views and how many documents are generated. We use these to see what is working.
• Cookies - small files needed to make the tools work, such as keeping your session or remembering a purchase. We do not use them to sell your information.
• Payments - purchases are handled by Gumroad. We do not see or store your full card details. Gumroad tells us that a purchase was made and gives us details such as your email address. See Gumroad’s privacy policy.

How we use it

To run the tools, deliver your documents, handle purchases and support, fix problems, and improve the tools. We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and retargeting

We do not currently use advertising pixels. We may in future use advertising or retargeting pixels (for example from Meta or Google) to measure ads and show our ads to people who have visited our sites. If we do, we will update this policy. You can opt out of personalised ads through your browser settings, by blocking third-party cookies, through your Google and Meta ad settings, or through industry opt-out pages such as optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.com.

Affiliate links

Some pages may include affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We will clearly mark affiliate links where they appear, and a commission does not change what we recommend.

Storage and retention

Data is stored with our hosting and service providers, which may be outside New Zealand. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 where it applies) you can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@kerbform.com.
